Louisiana

Act By Friday, May 14

Our colleagues in Louisiana are facing an urgent situation. The Louisiana Survivors Justice Coalition needs support to defeat a bill currently before the state legislature that would fully decriminalize the sex trade.

House Bill 67, sponsored by New Orleans State Rep. Mandie Landry, decriminalizes pimping, sex buying and brothel owning, and dismantles mechanisms for prosecutors to hold accountable sex traffickers.

We are urgently seeking signatures from survivors of the sex trade and allies in response to a committee hearing held  Tuesday, May 4. Please sign the letter opposing the bill here.

We welcome signatures from out of state allies.
